Editorial Policy

Editorial process

Every article published on red-engage.com is researched, drafted, reviewed, and approved before publication. The CEO, Michal Hajtas, performs the final review on each post. Drafts that fail the review process get reworked or cut. We don't publish content that misrepresents our methods, overstates results, or lacks primary source attribution.

Sourcing and fact-checking

Every statistic, quote, or study referenced in our articles links to a primary source wherever one exists. Our preferred source hierarchy:

1. Peer-reviewed research and academic papers
2. Primary data from industry tools we operate ourselves (Peec.ai, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush)
3. Published reports from established research firms (Muck Rack, Hall.com, BrightEdge, Profound)
4. Direct vendor documentation (Google Search Central, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity)
5. Named expert commentary from identifiable practitioners

We do not cite uncredited aggregator content, AI-generated articles without named human authors, or statistics whose original methodology we cannot locate.

Author credentials

Our primary author is Michal Hajtas, Founder and CEO of Red-engage. Author identity is declared in the Person schema on every post. Guest contributors, when used, are named in the byline with their credentials and relevant conflicts of interest.

Corrections policy

If you find an error (factual, statistical, attribution, or otherwise), email contact@red-engage.com with the URL and the issue. We respond within 48 hours. Confirmed errors are corrected at source with the article's dateModified field updated and, when the change is substantive, a visible correction note added below the post.

We do not silently edit published claims. Every substantive correction is timestamped in the article metadata and, when appropriate, disclosed inline.

Content refresh

Articles in our core GEO, AI search, and Reddit marketing categories are reviewed on a regular cycle: Starter-tier content refreshed quarterly, Growth and Enterprise content monthly. Refresh updates include new data, updated FAQ, refreshed schema, and a new dateModified timestamp. Outdated articles that cannot be meaningfully refreshed are cut or redirected.

Independence and disclosures

Red-engage does not accept payment for inclusion in listicles or comparison content. When we include our own agency in a comparison article alongside competitors, we disclose the relationship at the top of the post and apply the same evaluation criteria to ourselves as to the other agencies.

Affiliate relationships, if any, are disclosed inline at the point they become relevant. We do not place hidden affiliate links.
